Updated 8 November 2026
Komodo 2D1N itinerary for groups on Arfisyana: a sample route. Day one covers Kelor, Manjarite and Kalong; day two climbs Padar before Pink Beach, Taka Makassar and Manta Point. The whole boat costs IDR 47,500,000 (≈ USD 2,914) to IDR 67,500,000 (≈ USD 4,141); 20 guests pay IDR 3,380,000 (≈ USD 207) each.
Komodo 2D1N itinerary for groups, first afternoon: Kelor, Manjarite, Kalong
This 2D1N is a sample route. It is priced on the rate card, planned by us for a group of 20, and finalised with the captain by weather and by your flights.
Day one. Pickup from your hotel or the airport, planned for the same window as the 3D2N, between 10:00 and 11:00, then lunch aboard. In the afternoon you walk the hill on Kelor, snorkel at Manjarite and anchor for sunset at Kalong, where the bats leave their roost over the water in a long dark ribbon. Dinner is at anchor, and the group sleeps aboard.
Day two is the shorter tail. It keeps Padar, Pink Beach and the two snorkel stops, and we set the end time with your flights when you book.

| Snorkelling at Manjarite | mask and snorkel | |
| Sunset and the flying foxes at Kalong Island | a light layer | |

Day 2
| What happens | Have ready | |
|---|---|---|
| Padar Island walk at sunrise | shoes with grip, hat and water | |
| Breakfast on board | ||

| Lunch on board | ||
| Snorkelling at Taka Makassar | mask and snorkel | |
| Snorkelling at Manta Point | mask and snorkel | |
| Back to Labuan Bajo, then to your hotel or the airport |
These stops swap order with tide and wind: Manta Point ⇄ Taka Makassar.
Times are operating patterns, not a timetable. Pickup is the only promise we make by the clock.
Second morning: the Padar climb first, with Pink Beach and two snorkels after
The second morning starts at Padar, before the heat. Pace: the climb takes 30 to 45 minutes, with a water break at the first viewpoint, and 20 guests string out along the path. Send the fittest first, keep a chaperone at the back, and count heads at the top.
Breakfast comes once you are back on the boat. Then Pink Beach, lunch aboard, a snorkel at Taka Makassar and a second snorkel at Manta Point. Whether the mantas show is a matter of the current and the day, and a group that expects a sighting on a schedule goes home annoyed.
The route leaves out Komodo Island and Kanawa, which the 3D2N carries. That is the real difference between the two. If your group wants the ranger walk and the dragons, take three days.
The 2D1N fare, by group size
Fares belong to the whole boat and follow the headcount band. The table below gives the five bands for two days, with each guest's share at the top of every band.
The park package per head is paid on top, with tips, flights, hotels and the card fee of 3 percent when you pay by card link. Alcohol is not part of the fare. A guide aboard or documentation is on request, quoted apart.
A 2D1N has one night aboard, so settle the rooming before you sail: chaperones and elders in the two Master Cabins, everyone else in the bunk rooms. The cabins page shows the plan for 20.
| Guests | per boat | per person |
|---|---|---|
| 1–4 | IDR 47,500,000 (≈ USD 2,914) | IDR 11,880,000 |
| 5–8 | IDR 52,500,000 (≈ USD 3,221) | IDR 6,560,000 |
| 9–12 | IDR 57,500,000 (≈ USD 3,528) | IDR 4,790,000 |
| 13–16 | IDR 62,500,000 (≈ USD 3,834) | IDR 3,910,000 |
| 17–20 | IDR 67,500,000 (≈ USD 4,141) | IDR 3,380,000 |
Two days, shared out: each guest's cost for 20, 16 or 12
The useful sum here is the trade between lengths. A full boat of 20 pays IDR 3,000,000 (≈ USD 184) each for one day, IDR 3,380,000 (≈ USD 207) each for two days and IDR 3,500,000 (≈ USD 215) each for three.
So the second day, with its night at anchor, Padar at sunrise and two more snorkels, adds less per head than most groups expect. The bigger lever is the headcount. Filling the boat from 12 guests to 20 cuts each share by more than the extra day adds.
Add the park package to each share before you quote the group a total. Collect the deposit when the date is fixed, and the balance 30 days before sailing. Leave the card fee out of your sums unless the group pays by card.
Sleeping at anchor once, then flying home: leave margin
One night at anchor, then the flight home. On the second day the boat comes back to Labuan Bajo at a time set by the weather, the tide and how long the group stays at Manta Point. We fix the end time with your flights when you book.
Leave margin. Do not book a flight the same afternoon, and for a group of 20 leave a few clear hours between the quay and the airport. Late schedules cost more than cheap tickets save, and a night in town at the end is cheaper than a missed connection.
Be in town the evening before sailing too. A two-day route has little slack, and a morning delay on day one removes Kelor first. If your group wants a fixed route with the clock times written down, the 3D2N page is the better fit.
FAQ
How much does a 2-day, 1-night Komodo trip cost for a group?
The boat costs IDR 47,500,000 (≈ USD 2,914) for 1-4 guests up to IDR 67,500,000 (≈ USD 4,141) for 17-20 guests, and the whole fare is shared. A full boat of 20 pays IDR 3,380,000 (≈ USD 207) each. The park package per head is paid on top, as are tips, flights and hotels.
What time does the 2D1N finish, and which flight is safe for the way home?
The end time is set with your charter date and flights, because weather and the tide move it. Do not book a flight the same afternoon. Fly the next morning, or tell us the flight number and time, and we plan the second day around it so the group reaches the airport with margin.
Is the 2D1N a fixed route or a sample?
A sample. The 3D2N is the standard route, with its stops and clock times. The 2D1N, like the 1D and 4D3N, is priced on the same bands and planned as a sample route. The captain finalises it with you by weather and flights, and stops can change on the day.
