Arfisyana Indah Phinisi
Nine stops, three days, one headcount
Updated 8 November 2026
Komodo boat stops for groups, as Arfisyana sails them: nine on the standard three-day route. Kelor, Manjarite and Kalong fill day one, five more fill day two, and Kanawa closes day three. Rinca and Sebayur appear only on the sample routes.
Nine stops, mapped to the three days
Day one is the warm-up. The boat sails at 11:00, you climb Kelor, you snorkel at Manjarite, and at dusk you watch the bats leave Kalong. Day two carries the weight. It opens with Padar at first light, then Pink Beach, then a ranger walk on Komodo Island, and it ends with Taka Makassar and Manta Point. Day three is Kanawa, one last snorkel, and the quay near 12:00.
The grid gives one card per stop. Open the stop page before you brief the group, because each page says what people do there, how long they stand, walk or float, and what to carry. Manjarite gets no page of its own. It is a short snorkel on day one, and the route page covers it.
Count the days, not the stops. Day two holds five of the nine, so that is the morning to hurry people through breakfast and the evening to expect tired legs.
- Padar at dawn, and how 20 people climb it
- Pink Beach: land, swim, count
- The Komodo Island walk, with a ranger in front
- Manta Point: the current has the last word
- Taka Makassar: a sandbar on the tide's clock
- Kalong: twenty guests, one deck, a sky of wings
- Kelor: the first hill, a rehearsal for Padar
- Sebayur: the fourth-day stop
- Kanawa: one last snorkel, then the quay
Walk, swim or sit: what each stop demands from 20 people
Sort the nine stops by what they ask of a body. Three are walks: Kelor on day one, Padar at dawn and the Komodo Island trail. Five put you in the water. Manjarite comes first, Pink Beach second, Taka Makassar and Manta Point as a pair, and Kanawa last. One you only watch. That is Kalong, from the deck, with the bats overhead.
The table below gives the length and effort of each stop. Read it with your slowest walker and your weakest swimmer in mind, because a group of 20 moves at their speed and not at the speed of the fastest.
Two stops need extra care. Padar is steep in places, and Manta Point has a strong current that suits confident swimmers. The rest are gentle enough for a mixed class or a three-generation family. Tell us who in the group needs the shorter option and we plan around them.
Standard stops and sample stops
One route is the standard: the three-day, two-night charter. Count its nine stops by day. Day one has Kelor, Manjarite and Kalong. Day two has Padar first, Pink Beach and Komodo Island next, then Taka Makassar and Manta Point. Day three has Kanawa. Two independent listings agree on that order.
The other routes are samples. The one-day charter visits Kelor, Rinca and Manjarite and is back before sunset, so Rinca belongs to that route only. The 2D1N sample keeps day one as it is and squeezes day two into Padar, Pink Beach and the Taka Makassar and Manta Point pair, so Komodo Island drops out. The 4D3N sample adds Sebayur and a spare day for weather.
Samples are priced but not fixed. The captain finalises the order of stops with you, by weather and flights, and can swap two stops on the day. If the dragons are the point of your trip, choose 3D2N or 4D3N.
FAQ
Which famous stops does a three-day charter cover, and which does it skip?
The standard 3D2N covers Padar, Pink Beach, the Komodo Island ranger walk, Taka Makassar and Manta Point, plus Kelor, Manjarite, Kalong and Kanawa. It skips Rinca and Sebayur, which appear only on the one-day and four-day sample routes. The 2D1N sample leaves Komodo Island out.
Is a boat trip to these stops worth it for a mixed-age group?
Yes, if the group accepts two early starts and one steep climb. The walks are short, the snorkel stops are shallow apart from Manta Point, and the boat is the hotel in between. Sea conditions change with the season, so ask us which month suits your ages best.
